A condition characterized by the presence of multiple nodules within the thyroid gland, leading to diffuse enlargement of the thyroid gland.

Characteristics
Neck swelling is common, and some patients may experience difficulty breathing or swallowing.

Diagnosis
Diagnosis is made through ultrasound and blood tests, with Fine Needle Aspiration biopsy performed if needed.

Treatment
If symptoms are mild, careful observation is recommended. Surgery may be considered if the goiter is large or symptoms are severe.
